After a good bit of publicizing, and prodding, and all the rest of it, my BSCS AP Biology Leadership Academy crowdfunding campaign has raised all of the money I proposed, with seven days left in the campaign. So, that's pretty great. Colorado here I come.
With the aid of fifty or so individual donors, the campaign has actually raised more than the $2500 target (and there's still a good week left to raise even more).
I remain as ambivalent as ever on the need for teachers to digitally beg for funds to attend professional development opportunities, but for now I'll smile and nod, and accept the largesse of my friends, family, and colleagues.
